01Data we process

Wristance does not read from or write to Apple Health. It does not access clinical records, location, or continuously detect body posture.

Wristance processes the work schedule you configure and the sitting or standing status changes you confirm in the app.

02How data is used

Work-plan and activity records are used only for reminders, status summaries, Apple Watch complications, and report cards you choose to create.

Sitting and standing durations are calculated on device from your configured work hours and confirmed status changes. These records are not medical measurements and are not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, data mining, or diagnosis.

03Storage and transfer

Wristance has no account system or developer-operated server. Work plans, activity records, reminder diagnostics, and derived states are processed and stored on your devices. Required theme settings and states may sync between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple-provided device communication.

Wristance does not sell, rent, or disclose your records to third parties. If you use the system share sheet to export a report card, you choose the recipient, and the recipient service’s privacy policy applies after sharing.

The sitting-education page in Settings includes original-source links to WHO, CDC, and PubMed. A link is handed to the system browser only when you tap it. Wristance does not attach your work plan or activity history to these links.

04Your permissions

Wristance requests add-only Photos access only after you tap Save. It writes the report image you created and cannot read or browse your photo library. If you decline, preview and system sharing remain available.

Wristance requests notification permission only after you enable reminders. Work-start, sitting, and standing-goal reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Wristance does not use remote push notifications or a developer server.

05Deleting data

Deleting the app removes settings and caches stored by Wristance from the app containers managed by the system.

06Children and medical disclaimer

Wristance is a lifestyle and healthy-habit aid. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment advice, or professional medical services. Consult a qualified medical professional if you have health concerns.

07Policy updates and contact

If our data practices change, we will update this policy and obtain new permission or revise App Store privacy disclosures when required.
